Our new aluminium furnace

In order to deal with the growing numbers of wrought aluminium materials, a new furnace was put into operation at the beginning of the year specifically for aluminium alloys.
It is a two-door, electrically heated bogie hearth furnace with forced air circulation. The generous proportions of the furnace (l x w x h: 2.7 x 2 x 1.3 m) mean that it is also possible to heat large components, whereby the maximum batch weight corresponds to 2500 kg. The two ventilators ensure the circulation of air within the furnace chamber, which guarantees the constant and efficient heating of the material with a temperature homogeneity of ± 5°C. The temperature range of the furnace lies between 350 750°C.
The site of installation was selected so that the furnace is easily accessible from both sides from the drop-forging area or the open-die forging area as needed. This investment will guarantee the high quality of our trademark aluminium products well into the future.
