Bobsleigh pilot Fabienne Meyer and her partner Hanne Schenk, who are co-sponsored by Imbach & Co Ltd, qualified for the Winter Olympics in Vancouver. Thanks to the silver medal won at the Swiss Championships in St. Moritz and an excellent 5th EM rank in Igls, nothing more stood in the way of selection and the fulfillment of the dream of both athletes.
The training days in Vancouver lived up to their expectations. Fabienne and Hanne found the track to be manageable. Their aim, a certified ranking (at least 8th place), appeared to be within reach. It would be a great success for them both considering that they had worked so hard for four years. After all, as women it is not at all easy to pursue bobsleigh sport at the highest level.
As it turned out, the 8th place remained just out of reach, but they achieved a commendable 10th rank. We at Imbach & Co Ltd, offer Fabienne Meyer and Hanne Schenk our hearty congratulations on this excellent ranking and wish them both much success for the future.
