Upgrading and increasing the output of ring rolling machines
At the end of summer 2008, the ring rolling factory underwent extensive upgrades. The complex elec-tronic control and the ring rolling software were completely replaced, a new control panel installed, and numerous mechanical components refitted. By modifying drives and gearboxes, the rolling forces and rolling torques could be increased by up to 25%.
Now, after an intensive reconstruction period of approx. 8 weeks, the ring rolling factoring radiates youthful freshness. Thanks to the extensive modifications, larger and also very fine rings can today be rolled even better. The complicated ring rolling mechanism also runs stably and quietly for extremely delicate rings. Rings made from particularly hard materials can be manufactured more safely and effi-ciently.
We are thus well equipped to tackle the challenges of the near future, and to be able to provide our cli-entele with high-quality, seamlessly rolled rings and discs. We can also roll discs using special rolling software. Rolling tests performed at start-up using this process left even our pros stunned.
